Community Speaker Application

FD/MAS Research Priorities Workshop | May 2nd, 2026

FD/MAS Alliance is hosting a Research Priorities Workshop in Philadelphia, PA,  thanks to the generous support from Dr. Eric Liao and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

This one-day meeting of patients and researchers aims to inform and shape the FD/MAS research agenda and is designed to integrate two critical perspectives:

  • the lived experiences of patients, which highlight the most pressing needs and challenges, and
  • the expertise of clinicians and researchers, which provides insight into the current state of science, available treatments, and future directions.

Community Speaker Application

Thank you for your interest in participating as a community speaker at the FD/MAS Research Priorities Workshop.

We hope to select a group of speakers who can represent the diverse experiences and perspectives within the fibrous dysplasia, McCune-Albright syndrome (FD/MAS) community and the full spectrum of clinical presentations. This is no easy task.

To better understand your perspective, we’ve created a short application. Please complete the application no later than January 5th.

Decision Process:
A small committee will then review applications (with identifying information removed) and select a group of speakers. We may schedule a brief call with an FD/MAS Alliance representative during that process. We hope to have all speakers selected by the end of January.

Questions can be directed to Tovah Burstein: tburstein@fibrousdysplasia.org
