Important FD/MAS Alliance Announcement
To the fibrous dysplasia, McCune-Albright syndrome (FD/MAS) community,
I’m writing to share an important summer update from the FD/MAS Alliance.
First, we want to let you know that Adrienne McBride has made the decision to take the next step in her career. Adrienne has been an outstanding leader over the past six years, and we are so grateful for her dedication and the many ways she has strengthened the Alliance. Please join me in thanking her for her incredible service and wishing her every success in her new chapter.
Looking ahead, the Board will be conducting a formal search for our next Executive Director. If you are interested in helping with this important process and shaping the future of the Alliance, I would love to hear from you.
In the interim, we are in great hands. Many of you know and admire Tovah Burstein, our amazing Community Engagement Director, who will be stepping in to lead day-to-day operations. We’re also grateful to Kristin Caprarola for taking on additional responsibilities to help ensure that this transition is smooth and that our work continues without interruption.
Our mission remains as strong as ever, advancing research, educating families, maintaining our registry, and advocating for everyone impacted by FD/MAS. We have exciting plans for the year ahead, and I can’t wait to share more with you soon.
As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or if you’d like to get more involved. Together, we are making a difference.
With gratitude,
Anne Corvell,
Mom to Katie,
Board President FD/MAS Alliance
