Welcome our Summer Advocacy Intern!

FD/MAS Alliance relies on an engaged community to advance our priorities for research, healthcare, and advocacy. That’s why we were thrilled when Hrithik Yarlagadda, a Patient Advisory Council Member, offered to volunteer as a summer advocacy intern with us. Here’s a bit about Hrithik:

Hello! My name is Hrithik Yarlagadda. I am a high school junior in North Carolina. I love rowing, and have been rowing for 4 years as an athlete on the Charlotte Youth Rowing Club. When I’m not rowing, I love experimenting with a new recipe, watching a tv show, or practicing my driving.

This summer, I’ll be serving as an unpaid intern for the FD/MAS Alliance. My goals in this position are to build my experience with communications, increase nationwide awareness for FD/MAS, and contribute to the community that has helped me so much throughout my life. As a member of the PAC and an intern for the FD/MAS Alliance, I will continue to do my best to serve this community and help it thrive.

Be on the lookout for more from Hrithik in the coming weeks in our newsletter and on our social media channels like Facebook and Instagram.
